Nicknamed “Coda,” this humble gentleman is available for adoption now. He is doggy-door trained & very consistent. Finishing up his house training should be simple as can be.

He is always eager to please his favorite person. Sensitive and attentive to your moods and needs.

Sociable around other dogs, he has never shown aggression for any reason. When he feels uncertain he looks to a trustworthy leader, (or a close four legged friend,) to give him a confidence boost.

He is what we call an “extra-smart alarm system.” He will alert you to intruders with case-by-case levels of volume & tone. When you get to know his voice, you’ll know exactly what kind of threat is approaching:

Is the neighbor-cat using our sandbox again?

He says: “bark… bark? The cat’s back - Ok…” *yawn*

OR: Is it serious / scary?

He says: “ACKK!! There’s a HERD of cats with automatic weapons in our yard!!! HEY!! WAKE UP!!!”

Once you know him, he will tell you exactly what’s up. Then he will quiet down when you let him know everything’s ok. A valuable kind of guardian for any home!

At first he may be shy or shrink away from someone new, but he’s not snippy or cranky. He’s just cautious. Once he trusts you, he will trust anyone you say is ok, too.

His dad is the exact same personality type. He will approach anything new with lots of caution. But he’s very loving, calm and confident by your side. Mom and dad both will happily play, kiss, and cuddle up with anyone their favorite person approves! They like having someone they can count on to give them the “thumbs up.”

“Coda” is a really good natured guy, too & he will make a very sweet and helpful kinda’ pet. He’s looking for a loving family or a dedicated best friend with a little patience to bring him out of his shell. He will pay you back with unending loyalty!
