“Apollo” is such a handsome young gentleman. He turned 2 years old, & full grown he is is a very handy, small size. Only 19.5 lbs, he’s easy to lift and carry but can also keep up on foot. He has an exceptional coat! Its very short and smooth (as seen in his photos) so he does much less shedding than any standard tricolor beagle!

He is dog door trained & well started on crate training, too. Plus he’s a very loyal guardian. He will nap on your lap and only raise his head to give you his adorable little “warning growl” under his breath. Just letting you know when something is sneaking up on you or your home. But he’s very friendly and sweet, even to strangers and other dogs as soon as you tell him they’re friends! He is not aggressive or grumpy!

He will squint his eyes, kiss the air, and wag his tail sheepishly. It’s like he’s saying, “Oh, sorry! Just doing my job!” when he recognizes the potential intruder.

You can see he LOVES snacking on beans, carrots, or okra tops from our garden, (In his opinion, fresh veggies are a special treat.)

“Apollo” is ready for anything. He will be a perfect family guardian and a loyal best buddy.
